Slovakia - What are the new and emerging risks affecting workplaces?
From workplace accidents to psychosocial factors such as stress, workers are exposed to a range of different risks in the working environment. To understand more about the potential impact of these risks, the Slovakian National Focal Point, in collaboration with EU-OSHA, has organised a webinar to review the results of the 2019 European Survey of Enterprises on New and Emerging Risks (ESENER).
The webinar, which is conducted in English, provides an overview of the main findings of the survey for Slovakia. Xabier Irastorza, project manager at the Prevention and Research Unit at EU-OSHA, offers insight into the risks that represent the greatest threat to Slovakian workplaces and describes how employees can help to lower the risks through proactive measures. Furthermore, speakers provide a practical understanding of how workplaces can succeed in managing occupational safety and health (OSH).
The session is particularly useful for members of the national network and OSH managers responsible for mitigating hazards in workplaces. Taking place on the Microsoft Teams platform, the webinar is free to attend and offers good practice tips on lowering risk for workers.
