Description
Skills and “the right to quality and inclusive education, training and life-long learning” is principle number 1 of the European Pillar of Social Rights. But what skills are needed now and will be needed tomorrow in a changing world of work? What initiatives can be successful in anticipating and addressing skills gaps?
During the European Year of Skills, five EU agencies under the remit of DG Employment and Social Affairs (Cedefop, Eurofound, ETF, EU-OSHA and ELA) will share their complementary labour market and skills evidence. Together with the European Parliament and the European Commission they will discuss with members of the European Parliament and key stakeholders the challenges and opportunities involved in tackling workforce and skills shortages in the EU.
Join the debate and discover the latest findings on skills demands and the implications for working conditions and safety and health. Explore emerging trends and solutions in a changing world of work, with a focus on a people-centric approach to skills investment. Be part of shaping bold priorities for the EU's long-term growth, sustainability, and inclusion ambitions.
