Description

The transition from school to the world of work can mean a big shift in daily lives, particularly in relation to safety and health. It is vital that we equip young adults with the knowledge and tools to support a healthy and sustainable active life.

On 10 November, the Portuguese focal point hosts a webinar for the entire educational community involved in the Healthy Workplaces Lighten the Load campaign to set a challenge to teachers for the 2021-22 academic year. The challenge is to combat sedentary lifestyles and to encourage healthy and active work by introducing microbreaks into the daily classroom routine. Speakers also discuss how to mainstream occupational safety and health into vocational education and training – the OSHVET project.

The event takes place online and is aimed at students and teachers in secondary and professional education.
