Description

Small and medium-sized enterprises are the backbone of the EU economy, but they often face unique challenges, especially when it comes to ensuring the safety and health of their workers.

Our national focal point in Denmark, the Danish Working Environment Authority, will host a conference addressing occupational health and safety (OHS) efforts within small businesses.

Participants, representatives from trade unions, research centres and companies, will take part in a knowledge exchange with OSH consultants and safety advisors to discuss specific issues encountered by small enterprises and how to effectively implement systematic safety measures. Resource constraints to regulatory compliance will also be highlighted, as well as existing support programmes and initiatives to ensure that OSH is managed in every Danish workplace.
