Description
The 50th anniversary of the Země Živitelka Fair celebrating half a century of contributions to the Czech agrifood sector is taking place soon in České Budějovice. This exhibition showcases advancements and innovations that define the future of the sector. This year's themes include robotisation and automation in agriculture, alongside the latest developments in technology, mechanisation and smart farming.
Our Czech focal point Ministerstvo práce a sociálních věcí will host an Info Point at the fair, promoting EU-OSHA’s Healthy Workplaces ‘Safe and healthy work in the digital age’ campaign. In this context, attendees will be able to discuss the increasing integration of digital technologies in agriculture.
The Info Point will serve as a hub for information and education on occupational safety and health (OSH), targeting a diverse audience that includes students from secondary vocational schools, teachers and families with young children. One of the key highlights will be the ‘Introduction to Smart Agriculture’ segment, designed to engage and inform the next generation of agricultural professionals about the evolving landscape of the industry.
Visitors to the Info Point will also have the opportunity to learn about the Napo project. OSH experts will be present to provide advice and answer questions, ensuring that visitors leave with a better understanding of safe practices in the digital age. Interactive elements, such as OSH quizzes and crosswords will be available for children, with small prizes for those who answer correctly, making it an engaging experience for younger attendees.
