XXII World OSH Virtual Meeting – Global Action & COVID-19 for sustainable workplaces

Image

Following the postponement of the XXII World Congress on Safety and Health at Work, a virtual meeting about occupational safety and health (OSH) and COVID-19 is held on 5 and 6 October 2020.

The event looks into a global action approach for resilient and sustainable workplaces through good governance and strong social dialogue. It also explores the relation among OSH, business continuity, and employment and labour rights in the light of COVID-19.

EU-OSHA participates in the ‘From policy to action’ round table on how to address the pandemic and recovery and in the ‘Future of Work’ panel discussion, to highlight the importance of looking at the future of OSH and the initiatives carried out across EU Member States in this field.

Within the event, the International Media Festival for Prevention is also announcing the 50 shortlisted projects of the festival. The best among them will be awarded at the XXII World Congress 2021. EU-OSHA representatives are part of the festival’s jury members and participate in the shortlist announcement.
