Celebrated annually on 28 April and organised by the International Labour Organization (ILO), the World Day for Safety and Health at Work 2022 looked into how participation and social dialogue can contribute to a strong and positive safety and health culture. Under the motto ‘Act together to build a positive safety and health culture’, ILO issued a report and organised a global webinar.
Social dialogue is also one of the indicators of EU-OSHA’s OSH Barometer data visualisation tool. The barometer offers quantitative data and qualitative descriptions of the EU level and individual Member States’ social dialogue systems.
A new discussion paper on the quality of social dialogue and collective bargaining in occupational safety and health (OSH) complements this data. It reviews related literature and presents a methodological and conceptual approach for measuring the quality of industrial relations in OSH.
