Putting a price on work-related injury, death and disease

We know that workplace injuries, ill health and deaths result in a huge economic cost to individuals, employers, governments and society. But how can we achieve an accurate method of estimating those costs?

To gain a better understanding of the economic burden, we looked at five EU Member States using two different approaches to estimating costs.
