Exposure to biological agents such as viruses and bacteria in the workplace can cause a range of health problems. COVID-19 is only the most obvious example, and there are a number of sectors in which workers tend to be at particular risk.

A series of discussion papers examines exposures and related health problems in sectors including health care, waste management, arable farming, jobs involving traveling and animal related occupations. These papers, first published in English, are now available in several other languages.
