EU-OSHA’s latest guidance for workplaces focuses on supporting individuals experiencing mental health problems. Changes in working environment, hours and patterns, as well as tasks and equipment are some of the practical measures it describes to help and retain workers after a sickness absence. The report also recommends treating mental health with the same occupational safety and health (OSH) approach as physical health issues.
A review on good workplace practices and a set of policy recommendations complement the suite.
