Highlights

The EU-wide ESENER survey (European Survey of Enterprises on New and Emerging Risks), carried out by EU-OSHA, looks at how European workplaces manage occupational safety and health (OSH) risks in practice.

With the involvement of thousands of businesses and organisations across Europe, ESENER covers psychosocial risks, digitalisation, and drivers and barriers to OSH management, providing an insight on how worker participation in OSH-related matters could enhance OSH conditions across EU workplaces. 

The main fieldwork for ESENER’s fourth wave will be launched by the end of May 2024, and it will run until October 2024. More than 40,000 establishments across all business sizes and activity sectors will be interviewed in 30 countries.  

First results of ESENER 2024 will be published by the beginning of 2025.
