The European Year of Skills is launched on Europe Day, 9 May 2023, by the European Commission. The year, which will last until 9 May 2024, aims to raise awareness of the importance of skills for employment, competitiveness, and growth.

EU-OSHA is actively contributing to the year with its OSH Vet project, for the promotion of occupational safety and health (OSH) among teachers and students in vocational education and training. Getting workers’ skills ready for the digital transformation of work is also an important element of EU-OSHA’s next campaign 2023-25 ”Safe and healthy work in the digital age”.

Moreover, EU-OSHA’s OiRA project, through more than 330 sectoral tools, offers the opportunity to learn how to perform a straightforward risk assessment, which is the necessary start of safety and health management in the workplace.

Let's take a step towards a safer and healthier work environment with EU-OSHA!
