Europe Day opens the doors of EU institutions for celebration

Every year on 9 May, Europe celebrates the idea of the harmony of European citizens in peace and unity, first presented by Robert Schuman in his now historic speech in Paris back in 1950. His vision has over the years evolved into a society of common values called the European Union.

EU institutions join the festive spirit by organising activities and opening their doors to the public on the 4th May in Brussels. EU-OSHA organises a cultural event for all ages, with an info point in the heart of Bilbao on the 9th May, where citizens have the opportunity to test their knowledge of the Agency and its 25 years of work with the anniversary quiz.
