Drawing together the findings of major workplace surveys

The joint analysis report covers three major European surveys and provides an in-depth picture of how safety and health is managed in Europe’s workplaces. This comprehensive overview combines the perspectives of establishments -on risk management and risk awareness-, and those of workers -on exposure to risks and occupational safety and health (OSH) outcomes-.

The results analysed were those of the second European Survey of Enterprises on New and Emerging Risks (ESENER-2) by EU-OSHA, the Labour Force Survey 2013 (LFS) ad hoc module on accidents at work and other work-related health problems by Eurostat, and the 6th European Working Conditions Survey (EWCS) by Eurofound.

The findings aim to support policy-makers, employer and employee representatives, and OSH professionals in their efforts to create safer and healthier workplaces.
