The European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA) is planning to launch a call for tender for the above-mentioned subject matter.
The overall objectives of the contract to be awarded are:
• To increase knowledge and improve access to information related to supporting individuals with a mental health condition to stay in work or successful return-to-work following sickness absence
• To increase knowledge and improve access to information related to supporting individuals with a work-related mental health condition to stay in work or successful return-to-work following sickness absence
• To increase knowledge on managing mental health diversity at work, and the role that occupational safety and health can play
• To provide information for the workplace on good practices and practical measures that can be taken, illustrated with brief, real example and including measures relevant to micro and small enterprises:
- to support individuals with a mental health condition to stay in work or successful return-to-work following sickness absence
- to support individuals with a work-related mental health condition to stay in work or successful return-to-work following sickness absence
• To provide information on suitable workplace accommodations covering a range of different non-work-related and work-related mental health conditions
• To identify success factors for supporting workers with work-related or non-work-related mental health conditions stay in work or return-to-work following sickness absence, including measures relevant to micro and small enterprises (MSEs).
Expected deliverables are:
- Developing a comprehensive report (max 50-70 pages/38,000 – 53,000 words) based on the results of the research tasks
- Providing a PowerPoint presentation summarising the main findings of the research.
The maximum total budget available for the contract will be EUR 60,000 (excluding VAT).
