EUOSHA/2021/OP/D/SE/0136 - Education - Evidence from the European Survey of Enterprises on New and Emerging Risks (ESENER)

This call for tender invites bids to deliver a report on the education sector analysing in-depth the findings of the three ESENER waves.

The report will provide information capturing the factors that influence the management of health and safety among European workplaces in the education sector, looking at indicators such as management commitment, worker involvement, existence of procedures, availability of expertise and support, among others. The report will look at the differences by establishment size and country to identify different types of enterprises in their approach to managing OSH in the sector looking at the national context beyond the ESENER findings. It will also analyse how recent evolutions in the sector (digital learning/online teaching and a balance with on-site teaching, required skills of the workforce, new types of actors in the education sector and availability of public investment in education and research, etc.) may have influenced the management of OSH in education.
