The present publication is in the English language series from the Norwegian Tunnelling Society NFF, has the intention of sharing  information and experience in the use of the underground, this time with focus on health, safety and environment. The publication presents overview about relevant regulations and critical threshold values were modified followed by controls, measurements and enhanced attention from owners and society on  health and safety  matters.
