Περιγραφή

The report provides the summary about the sectors/industries and jobs in Norway in which the exposure to environmental toxins is currently considered to pose the greatest risk to health effects in workers. Furthermore, the project included an initial survey of which sectors / industries and workplaces where workers in Norway are exposed to some selected substances via the working environment: e.g. brominated flame retardants, phthalates, PFOS / PFOA and nanomaterials.

STAMI's EXPO database, the Product Register and the Nordic SPIN database were used in the work to seek detailed information on the occurrence and use of the individual substances. The EXPO database provides a good overview of current and historical exposures in Norwegian industry. In addition, information related to risk assessment by the EU and REACH, as well as other relevant available literature, has been sought.
