To launch the Healthy Workplaces Lighten the Load Campaign, the Spanish Focal Point is organising an online workshop to present the campaign, the topic of MSDs, and the related actions taking place in Spain.
The event begins with an introduction to the campaign by EU-OSHA’s Executive Director, Dr. Christa Sedlatschek, the Spanish Secretary of State for Employment, Joaquín Pérez Rey and the Director of the Spanish Focal Point, Javier Pinilla García.
Discussions then focus on the incidence of work-related MSDs in Spain and an action plan to reduce MSDs in the workplace. Intervention programmes and real-life cases studies are then presented by companies and the event wraps up with a question and answer session with the attendees.
Taking place online, around 300 people are attending from a wide range of backgrounds, including prevention technicians, local companies of all sizes, students from vocational training schools and representatives from public institutions, trade unions, local government and business groups.
