The future of work with AI and robotisation: screening and discussion in Brussels
Veranstaltungsdetails
Description
Artificial intelligence (AI) is rapidly evolving and becoming an integral part of many areas of our lives, including the workplace. In response to this shift, an event has been organised to examine how AI is transforming the work environment and the risks it poses.
As part of the event, there will be a screening of ‘Human, not Human’, a documentary that received the special mention by the jury at the 2023 Healthy Workplaces Film Awards. The film follows Otto, a man whose job is to blur faces on Google Street View. It explores the redefinition of work in a context of increased robotisation, algorithms and automation.
The writer and director, Natan Castay, will be present to share his insights into the creation of the film. His perspective on how it portrays AI’s impact on the workplace will add depth to the discussion, giving attendees a behind-the-scenes look at the issues explored.
A central aspect of the event will be fostering a collaborative environment where employers, employees, occupational safety and health (OSH) experts and other interested actors can engage in open dialogue about the ethical and practical implications of AI integration.
The activity will be hosted by our Belgian focal point, SPF Emploi, Travail et Concertation Sociale – FOD Werkgelegenheid, Arbeid en Sociaal Overleg.
