Specific learning modules for the textile and fashion sectors

The statutory accident insurance association for energy, textile, electricity and printing media (BG ETEM) provides learning modules on various topics in several sectors. The aim of these e-learning modules is to provide sector-specific knowledge on occupational safety and health (OSH) to workers and employers. The modules present OSH knowledge in an interactive and appealing manner. Each module lasts 15 to 20 minutes. A self-test (quiz) is included at the end of each module. For the textile and fashion sectors, seven modules exist and three of them are related to dangerous substances: dust exposure in textile manufacturing, operating textile cleaning machines with carbon-hydrogen solvent and operating textile cleaning machines with perchloroethylene (PER).
