Description

Seahealth's chemicals database contains more than 4,500 products that Danish shipowners have reported as being in use on their vessels. Data on the products are made available to vessels in Seahealth's 'Health & Safety at Sea' programme, which is used by the majority of Danish merchant vessels.
There are three different types of user in the database:

  1. Company administrator — updates the products that the company uses (whitelist) and sets up new products so that data on them can be shared with other company vessels. Administrators also have access to all of the safety data sheets (SDSs) and exposure scenarios (ESs).
  2. Company user — can get details of the company's whitelist and view the associated SDSs and ESs.
  3. Manufacturer/supplier — can update SDSs for the products that companies have set up in the database.
