Description

This e-learning module explains the risks and hazards associated with the sheetfed offset printing industry, with the help of a simple process model. In offset printing, health hazards are dominated by the dangerous substances found in paints, varnishes, detergents and cleaning agents.
The statutory accident insurance association for energy, textile, electricity and printing media (BG ETEM) provides learning modules on various topics in several sectors. The aim of these learning modules is to provide sector-specific knowledge on occupational safety and health (OSH) to workers and employers. The modules present OSH knowledge in an interactive and appealing manner. Each module lasts 15 to 20 minutes. A self-test (quiz) is included at the end of each module.
