Description
RISCTOX is a database of hazardous substances that was developed to provide clear, organised and concise information on the health and environmental risks caused by the chemicals contained in products that are often used or handled by companies. The RISCTOX database provides information on over 100,000 chemical agents, including data on:
- the classification of the substance according to Regulation 1272/2008 (CLP);
- specific health risks;
- specific environmental risks;
- environmental and health-related regulations.
It also provides policy advice and links to related regulations and includes accessible and systematic public information on health and environmental risks.
