The Technical Notes on Prevention (NTPs) are guides to good practice. This NTP is about protective gloves for use when working with chemicals. It explains how to select the right gloves, including different sources of information on the skin, namely safety data sheets and where to find information on appropriate gloves. In addition, it includes information about the requirements for glove materials, test standards for chemical protective gloves and chemical product codes.
