When a person applies pesticides, there is a risk that such products will get inside them, in particular through the skin. In this possible chemical risk situation, the use of basic work overalls is not, in most of the cases, the best solution. According to the existing harmonised European standards, chemical protective clothing is generally classified into six types, depending on how tight it is. In selecting the most appopriate protective clothing for a task, it is necessary to evaluate the body areas exposed during the task, looking for the best compromise between comfort and protection level. In this poster, the different types of protective clothing for pesticides are shown.
