OSHwiki — nanomaterials
English
Description
The OSHwiki gives an overview of nanomaterials, i.e. materials with nanometre-scale (nanoscale) structures, informs of potential hazards of these materials and exposures at the workplace. It informs about risk assessment of nanoparticles at workplaces, provides information on legislation and describes best practice approaches to the management of related risks. Evidence shows that a nanoscale substance behaves differently from its larger scale counterparts and hence may require different management approaches. The OSHwiki on nanomaterials focuses on engineered nanoparticles and manufactured nanomaterials.
