Description

The guidelines inform about the prevention of occupational cancer risks as part of primary tumour prevention and to promote a culture of occupational risk prevention. The guidelines mainly address medical personnel but some information is useful for other occupational safety and health (OSH) specialists. The document includes statistics on the number of workers exposed to carcinogens in Italy and in Tuscany specifically. There is also an annex containing the types of tumour associated with the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) carcinogens (for 2015).
