Description
The guideline provides information for nail technicians about the risks and about protection measures.
Nail technicians generally use acrylates and methacrylates or gels containing these substances for nail decoration and/or elongation. Products used in nail salons include acrylates such as 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate, hydroxypropyl methacrylate and ethyl methacrylate. Workers are also exposed to solvents such as Isopropanol and acetone.
