Information on chemicals

This website section provides access to ECHA’s registration database. The database can be searched by substance name or identifier and all information from the registration dossiers is displayed, except it is claimed confidential. Substance information in the registration database includes information on hazards and uses. The information in that database is provided by the industry and only partly quality checked by authorities
The website also gives access to information in other databases such as the classification and labelling inventory or under other legislation, including e.g. biocides, pesticides etc. Further, information on workers protection legislation is provided and which substances are covered e.g. by the CAD and CMD.
