Popis

To expand on the direction provided by the Mining Policy Framework (MPF) of the Intergovernmetal Forum on Mining, Minerals, Metals and Sustainable Development (IGF), IGF member states identified the need for more concrete guidance on managing key issues relating to mining and sustainable development. In response, the IGF Secretariat will develop, on an annual basis, IGF guidance for governments that build and expand on the direction provided in the MPF to assist member countries in their implementation of the framework.
