Description

This guidance document produced by the German Social Accident Insurance (DGUV) provides instructions for safe working in chemistry labs. The guidance includes instructions on the safe handling of chemicals, tools and equipment in chemistry labs; waste management and cleaning; the risks and hazards of fire and explosion; working with electrical equipment; working with radiation; health hazards; respiratory protection; and first aid. In the annexes, there are, amongst others, a list of carcinogenic substances and a list of H-phrases.
