Description

The second eposide of the cartoon series draws attention to the long-term effects that chemicals may have. The use of proper protective equipment and of local exhaust ventilation is emphasised. In the video, the young worker degreases metal parts and wears only a dust mask, which is inappropriate. His boss tells him to use the local exhaust ventilation and wear a respirator and gloves. The expert emphasises that certain substances (solvents) can lead to serious health impairments and workers are warned about their responsibility in taking care of themselves.
