Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) not properly worn or selected appropriately may be totally ineffective and may give the user a false sense of protection. The aim of this guideline is to provide basic information and general guidance on the selection, use and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE) in the workplace for use with chemical agents. This guidance does not include advice on respiratory protective equipment (RPE).
