Global Chemicals Outlook II

The global chemicals outlook is a compilation of statistical information on the production and use of chemicals in all sectors and around the globe. It provides information on the (adverse) impacts of the use of chemicals (e.g. pollution, health and economic impacts) and to what extent the goals of the sustainable use of chemicals are met. Finally, it includes recommendations to policy makers on how to improve their national or regional chemicals management and how the implementation of the Strategic Approach to International Chemicals Management (SAICM) could be accelerated.
