The factsheet explains legal requirements on communication about chemical hazards and risks, including the employers’ obligations and the classification and labelling of dangerous chemicals according to the EU regulation on classification, labelling and packaging of chemicals. The factsheet is one of a series produce by the EU-OSHA on occupational safety and health issues in relation to dangerous substances for the 2003 European Week for Safety and Health at Work.
