The presence of engineered nanomaterials in the construction sector has increased in the most recent years because they improve the properties of the products than contain them. Given the limited knowledge about these products, this document includes fundamental aspects such as the main nanomaterials used in the sector and its application, their toxicology and the exposure and the preventive measures to be taken in their handling.
