The translated guidelines clarify the general duties of employers concerning heath risk assessment for pregnant workers and workers who have recently given birth or are breastfeeding, and give instructions for carrying out the risk assessment of generic and specific hazards and associated situations, and give examples of preventive measures for dealing with the risk. In addition, document presents the aspects of pregnancy which may affect the work and consequently require adjustments to work organization.
