Minister of Social Affairs and Health, Finland"This year’s campaign takes place in close collaboration with the Finnish Institute of Health which coordinates the national programme ‘Youth and work’. The national launch, involving hundreds of young people, was held on 19th June at a big funfair park called Linnanmäki in Helsinki.
Occupational safety and health should be brought into education at all levels to focus actions on young people entering into working life. The European Week 2006 campaign gives an excellent opportunity to raise awareness.
