The studies develop technical expertise and competence as well as an intellectual capability to solve problems. They may be initiated in data processing, informatics, communication, accounting, marketing, administration and/or legal issues. It is, however, extremely rare to find health and safety at work being taught to non-practitioners as part of their general education programme."
