    The Council has adopted in June 2002 this resolution on the new Community strategy on health and safety at work (2002-2006).
  • The future of working conditions
    Within the framework of the German European presidency, a European Conference took place in Dortmund on 8th - 9th June 1999 on "The Future of Working Conditions". The conference was organised by the Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health. Support was provided by the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work, the Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs and Urban Development, Culture and Sport of North Rhine-Westphalia and the Project Body of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research - Work Organisation and Services.

    People

    NIOSH has published this report, which was developed under the National Occupational Research Agenda (NORA). It was the first attempt in the United States to develop a comprehensive research agenda to investigate and reduce occupational safety and health risks associated with the changing
    organisation of work.
  • Transfer Project on Demographic Change
    The booklet Demographic change in the world of work. Opportunities for an innovative approach to work A German point of view is the result of work undertaken in the framework of the transfer project Demographic Change: Public Relations and Marketing Strategy. This project focuses on possible ways in which working people, enterprises, and employer and trade union organisations might perceive, respond to, and manage the interactions between the processes of innovation and population ageing. The booklet can be ordered free of charge or can be downloaded in PDF-Format.
