EU-OSHA fully recognises its responsibility and role in contributing to the aim of creating a smart, sustainable and inclusive economy with high levels of employment, productivity and social cohesion. Better working conditions is one of the key contributions to reducing health inequalities and promoting a healthy and active ageing population. In 2012 a new EU policy document on occupational safety and health is expected. It is important to make sure that EU-OSHA is prepared to play its full part in achieving the policy objectives for Europe. Therefore the Agency aims at preparing its own new strategy in 2012
