Report - The practical prevention of risks from dangerous substances at work
Dangerous substances are found in many workplaces. Around 16% of workers in Europe report handling hazardous products and 22% are exposed to toxicfumes and vapours for at least a quarter of their working time. Exposure to dangerous substances can occur anywhere at work, on farms, in hairdressers’ shops, in motor-vehicle repair shops, in hospitals, at chemical plants.
