Forum 4 - Accidents at work and employability
As part of the European Agency’s information activities linked to the theme of the European Week for Safety and Health at Work 2001, Prevent (Belgium) carried out an information project ‘Accidents at work and its impact on the employability of workers’. Using information gathered from literature and a number of cases on reintegration/rehabilitation of workers who have suffered work-related accidents, parameters were identified that influence reintegration into the workplace. Review criteria for a successful rehabilitation are presented based on an analysis of the cases and literature.
