Slovakian Focal Point of the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work.
The state administrative bodies with responsibility in the field of labour inspection are the Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs and Family of the Slovak Republic, the National Labour Inspectorate, which has its seat in Košice, and eight Labour Inspectorates, which are situated and have jurisdiction over areas which correspond to the eight administrative regions of the Slovak Republic.
The European Agency for Safety and Health at Work has an established network of Focal Points in each EU Member State. In the Slovak Republic the National Labour Inspectorate acts as the Focal Point. Its main task is to produce material and disseminate information on occupational health and safety at national level.
