Croatian Focal Point of the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work
The Ministry of the Economy, Labour and Entrepreneurship is the main administrative body for safety at work and health protection in the Republic of Croatia. Three more institutions are included in the implementation of safety at work and health protection:
- Croatian Institute for Health Protection and Safety at Work follows up and offers its professional assistance and is under surveillance of the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare and the Ministry of the Economy, Labour and Entrepreneurship.
- Croatian Institute for Health Insurance of Health Protection at Work is an institution that finances health protection and safety at work and is under surveillance of the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare.
- The State Inspectorate’s Office, is a state administrative organization under direct competence of the Government of the Republic of Croatia that performs inspection over implementation of regulations and status of safety at work.
