HSE's Commitment to the Equality Duty
The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) is committed to eliminating discrimination and promoting equality in our policies and in our dealings with our staff. We are committed to all aspects of equality with overarching objectives covering all equality strands.
On these webpages we set out the actions that HSE will take to ensure we meet these commitments and the requirements of the Equality Act 2010, Public Sector Equality Duty (the Equality Duty). This information informs both HSE staff and our stakeholders of our Equality Duty requirements and how we will achieve them.
We will be building on progress achieved through our 2010 Single Equality Scheme (SES), which is now archived as a reference tool.
