EUSAFE project to establish a standard set of qualifications for OSH professionals launched 13.12.2010
Universal qualification and training framework for health and safety professionals across Europe
The EU-funded EUSAFE project was launched in Brussels on November 26th 2010 at an event organised by the European Network of Safety and Health Professional Organisations (ENSHPO). Its aim is the establishment of a universal qualification and training framework for health and safety professionals across Europe, in order to improve international recognition of practitioners’ skills. The EurOSHM (European Occupational Health Safety and Health Manager) standard, which was launched by ENSHPO in September 2008, will be incorporated into the qualifications that are created as a result of the EUSAFE project.
