Occupational noise
With four million workers working under occupational noise, it is still an important risk, according to the German Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (BAuA). About 5,000 new cases of hearing loss are registered every year.
On the occasion of the 28th of April, BAuA highlights the risks linked to noise at work and provides information to its many guidance documents and databases aimed at reducing these risks.
Besides general information, it provides access to a wide range of information materials. Some selected examples:
