European NanOSH Conference – Nanotechnologies

The Conference will evaluate the current safety situation of engineered nanoparticles in Europe and consider what actions are required in the near future. The goal for Europe is to ensure the safety and health of workers in nanotechnology industry by preparing an agenda for occupational safety research on nanoparticles and nanotechnology. Thus, one of the main objectives of the Conference is to present the current understanding regarding the safety of engineered nanoparticles and to draw conclusions to protect workers both within and outside of Europe. Safety should be duly recognised as the key to the future success of nanotechnologies worldwide.
